Yūgyōji Temple (遊行寺)
Standing on the hills of the Nishitomi area of Fujisawa, Kanagawa Prefecture, is the Buddhist temple of Totakusan Muryoko-in Shojokoji (藤澤山無量光院清浄光寺), commonly known as Yugyoji (遊行寺), the head temple of the Jishu (時宗) sect of Buddhism.
The temple was founded in 1325 by Donkai Shonin (呑海上人), the fourth Yugyou Shonin (遊行上人) who is the successor of Ippen Shonin (一遍上人), the founded of the Jishu sect.
