Located near Toki no Kane (時の鐘), one of Kawagoe's most iconic landmarks, Starbucks Kawagoe Kanetsuki-dori Branch (スターバックス・川越鐘つき通り店) is one of the 29 Starbucks Regional Landmark Stores in Japan. These special stores are architecturally designed in symbolic locations and aim to showcase and share the unique culture and history of each region.

The exterior reflects Kawagoe's traditional kura-zukuri (warehouse-style) streetscape. At the center of the store is an inner courtyard, and at the back, is a small Japanese garden with terrace seating.
