Starbucks Kawagoe Kanetsuki-dori Store

Located near Toki no Kane (時の鐘), one of Kawagoe's most iconic landmarks, is Starbucks Kawagoe Kanetsuki-dori Store (スターバックス 川越鐘つき通り店). The store was designed to blend in with the traditional streetscape of this area, often referred to as "Koedo" (小江戸), meaning "Little Edo." It is one of 29 Starbucks Regional Landmark Stores in Japan, a group of stores whose architecture reflects the distinctive culture and history of their respective regions.

Opened on March 19, 2018, the store has an exterior inspired by Kawagoe's traditional kura-zukuri architecture, characterized by warehouse-style buildings. Wood from Saitama Prefecture was used for the exterior.

The store also has a courtyard and a garden with terrace seating at the rear.
