Located in the Kagawa area in the northern part of Chigasaki, Kanagawa Prefecture, mokichi cafe occupies a traditional Japanese residence on the grounds of Kumazawa Sake Brewery (熊澤酒造), known for producing Shonan Beer (湘南ビール).

The cafe is part of a larger complex operated by Kumazawa Sake Brewery that includes a bakery, Italian and Japanese restaurants, and a shop selling works by artists and creators from the Shonan area, as well as vintage furniture and antique goods.

One of the most distinctive features of mokichi cafe is its setting in a traditional Japanese residence, known as a kominka in Japanese. The building was originally constructed approximately 200 years ago and was later relocated and restored on the brewery grounds.

A direct-sales shop, which offers sake, beer, and craft gin produced by Kumazawa Sake Brewery, is located in the basement of the cafe.

The cafe is directly connected to mokichi baker & sweets + wurst. The bakery occupies a 100-year-old kura, a traditional Japanese storehouse, and offers freshly baked bread and pastries as well as handmade sausages. According to the brewery, the bakery was developed with the aim of making use of beer yeast produced during the brewing process.

The menu at mokichi cafe includes a variety of food and drinks, including hot dogs, croque monsieur, homemade quiche, croissant sandwiches, coffee jelly, sake lees (sake kasu) tiramisu, and seasonal items.
